Terms and Conditions:

 

Deposit


In order to confirm your reservation, 40% of the cost of the trip is required per person. A reservation of your trip will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and signed copies of the booking for and Travel Insurance.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as bank transfers.

Final Payment


Final payment is due in full 60 days before the first day of your trip. If you book your trip within 60 days of the tour, the full balance is due at that time, instead of just the deposit. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as bank transfers.

Cancellations


We understand that sometimes unforeseeable circumstances occur, and we have developed our cancellation policy with this in mind. If you must cancel for any reason, and it is more than 60 days prior to the tour date, Gourmand Breaks will refund your deposit less 200 Euros administrative fee per person or the amount thereof paid in case of inferior amounts. Cancellations made between 31 – 60 days prior to the tour date, will result in a refund of the total payment less 500 Euros administrative fee per person or the amount thereof paid in case of inferior amounts If cancellations must be made 30 days or less before the date of the tour, the administrative fee is the total cost of the tour per person In order to reserve the services of our suppliers for a tour, it is essential Gourmand Breaks guarantees full payment for their services. Thus providing refunds or payment transfers at late notice is impossible.

Gourmand Breaks reserves the right to cancel a trip for any reason. In the event of a cancellation on the side of Gourmand Breaks, everything will be done to find a suitable replacement tour client. In the event that no suitable replacement can be made, Gourmand Breaks will provide a full refund of the cancelled tours + 5% indemnity if cancelled less than 2 months and more than 15 days before departure, 10% if cancelled between 15 and 3 days before departure, and 25% if cancelled 48 hours before departure which is the extent of the liability of the company. Gourmand Breaks also reserves the right to change the stated itinerary in the event of unforeseen and exceptional circumstances. Every effort will be made to follow stated itineraries, but when impossible to do so, products and services of similar quality will be substituted. In these exceptional cases, we will strive to minimally impact the itinerary.

Travel Insurance


We strongly recommend travel insurance to all of our travelers to cover both the investment in the trip and yourself during the trip. We already include travel insurance in all of our tours and provide the details on our booking form. If you prefer to purchase it separately, please advise us.

Transportation


All of our tours provide transportation between tour activities, events, and cities etc. Additionally, we arrange for airport pick-up and drop off as part of tour services. The specific type of transport provided depends on the tour option you select. We are happy to arrange your hotel accommodations if you arrive before or leave after the specified tour dates, otherwise, all accommodations outside of the specified tour dates are the travelers responsibility. If you would like our assistance, please mention this in your comments section of our questionnaire etc.

Travel Requirements

To join Gourmand Breaks, it is the responsibility of each tour guest to arrange their travel to Barcelona for the start of their tour, as well as to obtain and carry with them a valid passport, visa, or any other necessary travel document as required by current government specifications.


There will be no refunds in the event you arrive for the program late or leave early.


The activities arranged in the tours can be physically challenging for some tour guest. Some of the places we visit, stay at, or eat at may not be accessible for people with disabilities, though Gourmand Breaks strives to accommodate everyone. Please let us know if you have any concerns as soon as possible, and we will work with you to ensure your enjoyment of the program.


You are responsible for bringing with you any prescribed medicines that may be necessary. We advise you to review your medical insurance to ensure you have adequate coverage, and to purchase additional supplemental travel insurance as needed. Finally, as food is an important part of every tour experience, you are responsible for taking into consideration any food allergies you may have. If you notify us of your allergies, we are happy to do our best in accommodating your needs.


Rooming Details


Accommodations are based on double occupancy. If you are traveling alone, we offer a single supplement to accommodate you. The cost of the single supplement is assessed on a tour by tour basis.
