Before heading to your charming hotel in Avignon, he will whisk you away to two truly beautiful French villages, Saint-Remy and Les-Baux de Provence. Picturesque St. Rémy is built on one of the oldest archeological sites in Europe and the ancient Gallo-Roman interior is circled by the remnants of the 14th-century wall and its buildings. A vivacious French village, its pretty squares, medieval buildings, cobblestone streets and charming restaurants are sure to enchant you! For lovers of gourmet food the old town is full of artisan food shops of all kinds, for typically Provençal delights; such as almonds, honey and nougat.
