Passing the old city walls, Romanesque cathedral, and waterfront, you’ll experience a coastal town that remains rooted in daily local life.

Continuing north along the coast, you will arrive in Polignano a Mare, perched high above the sea on limestone cliffs. Time is set aside to explore the historic center, enjoy panoramic viewpoints above Lama Monachile, and wander through quiet piazzas and cafés. Polignano’s compact scale and dramatic setting offer a clear sense of how the town has evolved around the coastline.
