Tour description
Provence to Tuscany Food, Wine & Culture Journey
This thoughtfully curated journey traces the culinary and cultural backbone of southern France and northern Italy, traveling slowly from the Luberon countryside to Florence. Beginning near Marseille, the experience is shaped by Provence’s villages, vineyards, and monastic landscapes, where food traditions reflect land, season, and daily life. Along the French Riviera, time is spent beyond the well-known coastline, discovering towns and communities where regional cooking and local rhythms still guide everyday life.
Crossing into Liguria, the focus turns to working harbors and coastal villages where olive oil, seafood, and pesto reflect generations of craftsmanship. The journey continues through the Cinque Terre and into northern Tuscany, with privately hosted winery visits, hands-on cooking, and shared meals with local producers. Carefully paced and led by trusted local experts, this tour emphasizes authenticity, regional identity, and personal connection, it offers a deeply immersive way to experience France and Italy through food, wine, and culture rather than surface-level sightseeing.
