DAY 1 ARRIVAL PARIS
Welcome to the city of lights, your first stop on this Luxury Custom Tour of France! Your private chauffeur will meet you at the Paris Airport and transfer you to your 4* boutique hotel in the best area for visiting Paris, just off the Pont Neuf, within a few minutes walk from the Louvre and the Notre Dame and other important sights and just across the river from the lively Left Bank cafes area. The concierge service at your hotel is fantastic and they will gladly provide you with personalized recommendations of the best places to go, depending on your mood and on how tired you feel after your flight.

DAY 2 PARIS
Your excellent Officially Licensed Guide and Driver will pick you up at your hotel in a luxurious, air-conditioned Mercedes and take you on a very special full day Private Paris Tour, stopping by all the most iconic and beautiful places. Your fun and very entertaining guide will give you tons of information on architecture and history, as well as about the daily life of the Parisians. We can customize this private tour to your interests, stopping at places like Notre Dame, Place Vendôme, Opera Garnier, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées and more! You can also have a walking tour in the mythical neighborhoods of Marais and Montmartre and a stroll along the romantic Seine River. The day will include lunch in a typical French bistro with wine to further experience the Parisian Joie de Vivre!

DAY 3 VERSAILLES
Our charming local guide/driver will pick you up at your hotel this morning for a half-day, chauffeur-driven excursion to the magnificent Palace of Versailles.
Your Luxury Food & Wine France Tour continues in style as you travel in comfort to one of France’s most iconic royal estates. Begin your visit with a guided walk through the expansive Versailles Gardens, a masterpiece of symmetry, fountains, groves, and sculpted greenery created by Louis XIV’s celebrated landscape architect, André Le Nôtre. As you wander among the grand alleys and ornamental parterres, your guide will share the stories, symbolism, and courtly life that unfolded here during the height of the Sun King’s reign.
You will then enter the Palace itself, exploring its dazzling halls and royal apartments. Marvel at the opulence of the King’s and Queen’s Suites, the glittering Hall of Mirrors, and the richly decorated salons that once hosted royal ceremonies, diplomatic receptions, and legendary festivities. Your guide will bring the history of Versailles to life, recounting the personalities, politics, and passions that shaped this extraordinary court.
After your visit, enjoy some time at leisure for a relaxed stroll, a coffee on the palace grounds, or browsing the charming boutiques near the estate before meeting your driver. You will return to Paris early in the afternoon, with the rest of the day free to explore the city at your own pace —whether that means visiting a museum, sitting at a café, or simply soaking in the atmosphere of the City of Lights.

DAY 4 STRASBOURG
This morning, travel south from Paris to Strasbourg aboard the high-speed TGV, a comfortable journey of just under two hours. Upon arrival at Strasbourg’s central station, collect your rental car and make your way into this captivating Franco-German city. You will check in to your boutique hotel in the heart of Strasbourg.
Please note: Day 4 to Day 9 is based on partially self-drive with your own rental car. However, if you would prefer to include Chauffeured transfers instead then we can of course make this adaptation to this tour.
In the afternoon, enjoy a 2.5-hour private guided walking tour through Strasbourg’s Old Town. Led by an engaging local guide, you’ll explore the magnificent Cathedral, the canals and timber-framed houses of Petite France, and the city’s most emblematic streets. Along the way, your guide will offer rich insight into Strasbourg’s history, architecture, and everyday culture, as well as practical recommendations to enhance the rest of your stay. The tour concludes with a curated tasting of Alsatian wine, regional cheeses, and traditional cured meats at a respected gourmet venue.
If you would like to experience Strasbourg from the water, we can arrange boat tour tickets in advance, offering a gentle overview of the city’s distinct districts. Strasbourg also offers several excellent museums – from art and history to contemporary collections – and we are happy to organise additional tickets on request.
You will then have the remainder of the afternoon free to wander the Old Town, explore Petite France at your own pace, browse local markets, or relax in one of the cafés along the riverfront. Overnight in Strasbourg.

DAY 5 STRASBOURG
Today is yours to enjoy Strasbourg and its surroundings at your own pace. After yesterday’s guided introduction, you can now follow your own interests – lingering in favourite corners of the Old Town, browsing local boutiques, or relaxing along the riverfront.
Within Strasbourg, you might revisit Petite France in a quieter moment, explore the excellent museums around the Rohan Palace, or take a leisurely walk through the elegant European Quarter. The city’s cafés, markets, and green spaces also offer plenty of opportunities to simply slow down and soak up the atmosphere.
If you’d like to use your rental car, the countryside just beyond Strasbourg is dotted with storybook villages, rolling vineyards, and scenic viewpoints that are perfect for a gentle half-day exploration. You’ll find picturesque landscapes, welcoming wine producers, and beautiful routes ideal for a relaxed drive. We will provide many suggestions in your Personal Travel Website.

DAY 6 COLMAR
This morning, you will depart Strasbourg and begin the scenic drive south toward Colmar. Rather than stopping at every village along the Wine Route, we suggest focusing on three or four of the most beautiful and character-filled places.
A first recommended stop is Obernai, a lively historic town with colourful squares and inviting cafés—an ideal place to ease into the rhythm of Alsace. Continuing south, you might pause in Mittelbergheim, known for its elegant Renaissance houses and wide vineyard views, officially classified among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France.” Further along, Bergheim offers wonderfully preserved medieval ramparts and quiet, flower-lined lanes, while Kaysersberg enchants with its half-timbered houses, arched stone bridge and hillside castle.
After your chosen visits, continue to Colmar, and check into your 4* boutique hotel. The remainder of the day is free to begin exploring Colmar’s charming historic centre at your own pace. Overnight in Colmar.

DAY 7 COLMAR
Today is a free day to explore the region at your own pace, and a wonderful option is to discover the blend of French and German Alsatian culture, landscapes and wines. We will provide full route notes, recommendations and local tips so you can shape the day exactly as you wish.
You might begin with a visit to one of the area’s remarkable fortified towns before crossing the Rhine into Germany for panoramic views over the river and surrounding vineyards. From here, continue into one of Baden’s renowned wine regions – particularly celebrated for Pinot Noir -where we can arrange a premium tasting that introduces the area’s distinctive volcanic terroir.
Lunch is recommended in the gentle foothills of the Black Forest, where refined regional cuisine pairs beautifully with local wines. In the afternoon, you could explore a historic university town, wander through a character-filled old centre, or take a scenic loop through hillside vineyards before returning to France. A final stop in one of Alsace’s picture-perfect villages offers time for a gentle stroll or an optional additional tasting before heading back to Colmar for the evening.
On return to Colmar you can return your hire car.

DAY 8 COLMAR
Our charismatic driver-guide will collect you in Colmar for a curated exploration of the northern Alsace Wine Route, an area renowned for its Grand Cru vineyards, rolling hillsides and impeccably preserved medieval villages. This immersive day offers a perfect introduction to the region, blending expert insight, local stories and the pleasure of discovering Alsace through its landscapes, flavours and traditions.
Your first stop will be the peaceful hamlet of Hunawihr, set among some of the most admired slopes in the region. Here, you’ll enjoy a gentle village walk and your guide will introduce the area’s long winemaking heritage and distinctive terroir. From there, continue on to Riquewihr, often described as a “living postcard,” where you will enjoy a private winery visit and tasting. This experience highlights the purity, aromatics and structure of classic Alsace varietals, from crisp Rieslings to expressive Gewurztraminers.
Lunch will follow in Riquewihr or nearby Ribeauvillé – an opportunity to savour traditional regional dishes in an authentic setting, naturally paired with the surrounding vineyards. In the afternoon, you’ll visit a second premium estate for an in-depth tasting that further illuminates the diversity and character of northern Alsace’s Grand Crus. With your guide’s commentary, you’ll gain a deeper sense of how geology, microclimates and centuries of craftsmanship shape each wine.
A final unhurried stroll through the historic centre of Ribeauvillé, with its cobbled lanes and pastel-washed houses, provides a charming conclusion to the day. You will then return to Colmar in the late afternoon.

DAY 9 BEAUNE
This morning, your chauffeur will collect you in Colmar for the scenic journey south into Burgundy. The drive to Beaune takes approximately three hours, following a route that moves from the gentle landscapes of Alsace into the rolling vineyard country of the Côte d’Or. Midway, you will pause in Dijon – the historic capital of Burgundy – where you’ll enjoy a privately arranged winery visit and tasting. This experience offers a rich introduction to the region’s celebrated terroirs, allowing you to compare styles, deepen your understanding of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and appreciate the craftsmanship that defines Burgundy’s winemaking heritage.
Enjoy some free time in Dijon for lunch before you continue on to Beaune and check into your elegant 5* boutique hotel, located just a short walk from the town’s historic heart. With its refined atmosphere and thoughtful touches, it provides an inviting base for your stay. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to settle in and explore at leisure. You may wish to wander through Beaune’s cobbled streets, admire its medieval architecture, visit a local cellar, or simply relax and enjoy the ambience of this charming wine town.

DAY 10 BEAUNE
Today is devoted to immersing yourself in the winemaking traditions of Beaune and its surrounding vineyards. At a relaxed and unhurried pace, you will enjoy two privately arranged visits at respected local wineries within the village. Each estate offers its own philosophy and interpretation of Burgundy’s legendary terroirs, giving you the chance to compare styles, understand the subtleties of different climats, and appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship behind the region’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. During your guided tastings, you’ll explore both current releases and, where available, selected older vintages that reveal the elegance and ageing potential of Côte de Beaune wines.
Between visits, you’ll have time to soak up the atmosphere of Beaune itself – its cobbled lanes, medieval architecture, traditional shops and inviting cafés. You may choose to enjoy a leisurely lunch in the historic centre or visit landmarks such as the famed Hospices de Beaune. We will provide many restaurant recommendations and free time suggestions. As the afternoon draws to a close, return to your hotel to relax, unwind and perhaps enjoy a final stroll through the town before dinner.

DAY 11 LYON
Today you will enjoy a Private Burgundy Wine Tour with our charming chauffeur-guide, travelling north from Beaune along the iconic Côte de Nuits wine route. This renowned stretch of the Côte d’Or is celebrated as the birthplace of many of Burgundy’s most exceptional Pinot Noirs, home to legendary Grand Cru vineyards whose names are known the world over. As you wind through these storied landscapes, your guide will illuminate the region’s intricate geology, centuries-old vineyard traditions, and the philosophies that shape Côte de Nuits winemaking today.
Your day includes exclusive private visits and tastings at two distinguished, family-run estates. DAY 12 LYON
This morning you will meet our private guide at your hotel and begin a flavorful discovery of Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy. A short transfer will bring you to Fourvière hill, where a funicular will carry you up to the striking Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, renowned for its dazzling mosaics. After a brief visit, you will enjoy sweeping views over the city’s rooftops, rivers, and Renaissance quarter.
You will then descend into Vieux Lyon, wandering its atmospheric lanes and slipping through the historic traboules, the hidden passageways once used by silk weavers. Your walk will continue to the Cathedral of Saint-Jean, a landmark of Lyon’s medieval heritage. Along the way, you will taste a classic local treat: a pink praline pastry, crisp, sweet, and unmistakably Lyonnais.
A private transfer will take you to Les Halles de Lyon – Paul Bocuse, the city’s iconic gourmet market. Here, you will explore celebrated food stalls, meet dedicated artisans, and enjoy an informal tasting-style lunch, sampling emblematic specialties – cheeses, charcuterie, pâtisserie, and seasonal delights—while your guide shares insights into Lyonnaise gastronomy. DAY 13 LYON
Today is a free day to enjoy Lyon at your own pace, giving you the opportunity to experience the city’s rich culinary heritage, elegant architecture and vibrant neighbourhoods in the way that suits you best. You might begin your morning exploring the famed food halls and markets, where generations of artisans have shaped Lyon’s reputation as the gastronomic capital of France. Strolling through the Renaissance lanes of Vieux Lyon or along the Rhône riverbanks offers a wonderful glimpse into the city’s unique blend of history and contemporary life.
For those seeking a deeper culinary immersion, we would be delighted to arrange an optional hands-on cooking class with a local chef. This experience allows you to learn classic Lyonnaise techniques, prepare seasonal dishes and enjoy a convivial meal that reflects the city’s celebrated gastronomic traditions.
